Description
Benedict Juliard has only one wish: to ride as an amateur jockey in steeplechase races. His father, George Juliard, a rising politician, asks his son to forswear any act that might injure his (George's) hopes for advancement. Benedict agrees lightheartedly, not knowing what lies ahead. Benedict soon becomes the target of vicious attacks from his father's enemies, men who will stop at nothing to derail George's career.
