Description
Love and Death is the second EP of Valcour Record?s ten-year anniversary project, I Wanna Sing Right: Rediscovering Lomax in the Evangeline Country. (Bad Boys and Good Men was the first.) I Wanna Sing Right is a limited edition set of four EPs that capture some of South Louisiana?s most talented artists performing fresh takes on a series of folk songs?both French and English?archived in Louisiana in 1934 by the late Alan and John Lomax. Valcour will release one EP each quarter during 2015; subsequent EPs will be Part Three: Dancing and Seduction, and Part Four: Good Women and Bad Girls.
