Description
Shakespeare's comedy tells of a "shrew," Katherina, who is so ill-tempered she seems unlikely to find a husband, and how her father refuses to let her younger sister marry until Katherina is off his hands. Petruchio appears and asks for Katherina's hand, betting that he can tame her.
